The STADA Group: Module Library

STADA is a leading European pharmaceutical company. The team was asked to create a modular design system that could be reused across multiple brand websites, making it easier for the team to launch new sites while keeping them consistent & accessible.

Brief
Design a flexible module library of website modules that worked within STADA’s existing brand system & could be used across multiple product sites.

Objective
Make it easy to build new brand websites quickly while maintaining a consistent look & feel.

Challenge
Create modules that were flexible enough for different brands & content needs without losing visual consistency.


The library needed to be useable, clean & uncomplicated with enough components to differentiate the many websites.

We designed a library of reusable sections, layouts, hero banners & components + across mobile & desktop that could be combined in different ways depending on the product.

Because the modules were designed to be flexible, the system could be used again & again across new products. This approach helped speed up design & production considerably, it became easier for teams to maintain consistency as the number of websites grew.


Reducing Design Time

Wireframes, sitemaps & core layouts already defined, teams no longer had to start from scratch for each launch. This approach cut design time by roughly half, allowing new STADA product sites to be created faster while maintaining consistency & quality.


Over 50+ STADA Group websites have been created using this extensive module library.
